Brunching at Catch

This weekend I made my way from the east of Hong Kong island to the west, taking the tram all the way to Kennedy Town and ending up at Catch. I got there for 11:30 – prime brunching time. So there was already a short queue forming, but luckily not too long a wait before we were seated.

A lot of places have set hours for their breakfast menu but the Breky section is served up to 4pm – good news for those late lier inners!

After checking out the dishes other tables were being served we decided on Big Bad Ben and Morning Caprese with a Triple Berry Smoothie and Coffee to drink.

As soon as Big Bad Ben was set down on our table, I had brunch envy! It had everything I was craving from a cooked breakfast – almost like an Eggs Benedict but better (and more evil!). There were two poached eggs stacked on top of chorizo and avocado with three hash browns instead of an English muffin.

My Morning Caprese was one of the vegetarian options, with cherry tomatoes in shades of red and orange scattered over two slices of toasted sourdough bread and two poached egg.

Verdict: Great selection of breakfast/ brunch options and quick service. Very satisfying weekend brunch. Will definitely be back to try the dinner menu.
